China to cut back on executions

On Friday, Septermber 14th, an report came in from a reporter, informing us that Beijing China, has ended a 23-year-old practice which allowed execution to be made through provincial courts in China. The government of China has ordered judges to use death penalties lighter if the criminal cooperates with authorities. China’s death punishment and execution is more than the rest of the world combined. Quote- "Capital punishment should only be given to an extremely small number of serious offenders.” This was said on the Supreme court’s web site. This new order was sent out to provincial courts on Wednesday. When a criminal is put on death sentence, usually, the criminal should get a two-year reprieve which is a penalty that often commuted to life when execution-criminals behave well in jail. Death sentence in China is usually given out to economic, nonviolent and political crimes. An example of Economic capital punishment in China can be on Tuesday, when a former official of the Agriculture bank of China was executed because he took bribes and embezzling bank funds of 15 million yuan ($2 million U.S). About 80% of the world’s capital punishment comes from China. Now, the capital punishment in China requires the approval of the Supreme People’s Court to approve all death sentences.
Upon reading this issue, I think China should stick with the old law for capital punishment because there’s too much crime going on in China, and having mercy upon serious criminals can lead to prison break, or the criminals can influence other criminals who aren’t as bad while in jail. I understand that there might be mistakes from capital punishment, like having the wrong prove for the criminal but if it’s the only way to run the country in a orderly fashion, then it must be done. If China follows the new law for capital punishment, it will take a very long time for each criminal to be convicted. Because China is a very populated place, the government cannot be democratic or even come close to democratic because this will slow down the process of passing on laws or punishments. I was born in China, and I have seen the number of crimes committed and it’s quite scary to see people being robbed, killed, or raped. So I think in order to keep the Chinese citizen under control and have the country run smoothly, China must switch back to the old law regarding capital punishment to control the amount of crimes that goes on in China!

I think this is quetion, and it would be following centuries. Execution is difficult subject. In my opinion, gorvernments should exucute prisons who are really worth it, but poor people are going to die without any reasons.
Americans is allowing it, but Canada is not allowing it. This is serious question.
